Yes I am actually using my blog for something other than reading other peoples entries.
Anyway, just got back from the Poland trip this morning, too early, approx. 02.00, together with some people from my class. Also teachers, Mr. DuPriest aka The Man and Renée aka Renée-nay (?!), the first is just disturbing.
We all had a good time, although the most hilarious thing, must have been Thomas getting drunk off his ass. We were all going out Friday night and we were just waiting for Jens and Thomas to come home from watching the football game on the big screen, eventually Jens come home but there is no Thomas. So we went to the first bar right across the street from the hostel, we had some shots, got a little tips, danced, but all the guys were getting a little to hands on, so we went back to the hostel to try and get Jens and Thomas with us so maybe all the gawking at "Swedish girls" would subside. When we get back Thomas was just getting back (this was at midnight), he wasn't feeling so good and the vodka bottle in his hand was almost empty... Jens is trying to calm him and get him out but wasn't looking so hot. After some time he is left behind and all us girls + Jens head off to the next bar with some people from the hostel. A while later at the third bar Sine is a little to drunk to stand and some of the girls take her home, and long story short we all ended up back at the hostel at around 3-ish. But the people who went home after the first bar are still up and they tell us about their night, Thomas got more drunk after the vodka really set in, he couldn't stand, he fell of the sofa onto the floor, and he finished off the last of the vodka. They tried to feed him something as he was drinking on a empty stomach, tried to get him to drink some water, get him into bed, with all clothes on... And all the while we could all not stop laughing. The next day he had only vague memories of the past night, but after asking why the hell he came back so late by himself or why he would drink so much strait vodka so fast, he explained that he had been walking around Krakow by himself drinking the vodka... It was very very humorous. Although his hang-over was very much not funny.
It was fun to get to know some of the people from the class better, even though only 1/4 of the IB 2 class come with.
All in all, it was fun, Poland is not cheap nor do they have nice food, and I would totally do it again some time.
